Sara Rue

 Sara Rue is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Carmen Ferrara on Popular, as Claude Casey on Less than Perfect and her role as Attorney General in Idiocracy. She was the host of the reality show Shedding for the Wedding on The CW in 2011. She had a recurring role in the show comedy Rules of Engagement, in which she was Brenda who was a softball teammate and close friend of Jeff Bingham. She was frequent on ABC's sitcom Malibu Country as Kim, and was part of the main cast of the TV Land comedy series Impastor. The actress is also famous for her role as Olivia Caliban in the second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events.She played the role in the comedy Grand, before going on to work on Phenom; Minor Adjustments; Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane; ER; The Division and Popular. She was Claude Casey, the main character on the sitcom ABC's Less than Perfect from 2002 to 2006. She has appeared in many films, including A Map of the World and Can't Hardly Wait. In Gore Verbinski's film adaptation of The Ring, she was also a babysitter. Director Michael Bay was so impressed by her performance that she was inspired to write her own character for Pearl Harbor. Rue played the role of Attorney General in the Mike Judge film Idiocracy (2006). In 2006, Rue starred in the stage musical Little Egypt with French Stewart, Jenny O'Hara and Gregg Henry at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles. Being the youngest of Berta's children she was a guest on Two and a Half Men. She had a stint on The Big Bang Theory, a CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, as Leonard Hofstadter's doctor girlfriend Dr Stephanie Barnett for three episodes. On the 17th of November, 2008 she made her first appearance on the program. In 2009, Rue appeared in the movies Man Maid and For Christ's Sake. Rue was a part of the short-lived 2009 series Eastwick which was based on the novel and film The Witches of Eastwick.
