Reese Witherspoon

 Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, born March 22, 1976 is an American actress. She has received many awards, such as an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential people in the world in the years 2006 and 2015 and Forbes named her one of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2021 and 2019. Forbes listed her as the world's most successful actress in 2021. Her estimated net worth $400 million. Witherspoon made her screen debut in The Man in the Moon (1991). Her breakout came in 1999 with a supporting role in Cruel Intentions and her performance as Tracy Flick in the black comedy Election. Her performances in Legally Blonde (2001 and its sequel 2003) and Sweet Home Alabama (2002 ) led to her being recognized more widely. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as June Carter Cash in the musical biopic Walk the Line in 2005. Witherspoon also starred in the romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama (2002). Since then, she's been a producer on television and actress in numerous female-led literary adaptations. These include Big Little Lies, an HBO drama series (2017-2019), The Morning Show which is the Apple TV+ drama series (2019-present) as well as the Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere (2020). The first time she appeared on these, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series.
