Nicole Scherzinger

 Nicole Scherzinger Elikolani Valiente (born June 29th, 1978) is an American performer, dancer, and actress. She is best known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls one of the top-selling girl groups of all time. born in Honolulu, Hawai`i, and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Scherzinger started acting at age 14 and was a musical theatre student at Wright State University. In the hopes of pursuing a career in music, she dropped out of college and toured with the American rock group Days of the New before getting some successes with Eden's Crush a girl group created through The WB's Popstars. After taking on some minor roles in the acting world, she was the singer in charge of the Pussycat Dolls. Her role as a prominent member of the group led to some disagreements which eventually led to the group's dissolution. Despite her fame, Scherzinger struggled to make her name as a singer in a different group. Her debut album, Her Name Is Nicole, was shelved. Then she released two studio albums, Killer Love in 2011 (and Big Fat Lie 2014) which were moderately well-loved. The album also included Killer Love that includes the hits singles "Poison", “Right There" and "Don’t hold Your Breath". Scherzinger also appeared on television. In 2010, she won Dancing with the Stars and was a judge on numerous other talent shows like The Sing-Off (2009-2010), The X Factor US (2011) and The X Factor UK (2012-2013) from 2016 to 2017 (2019) as well as Australia's Got Talent (2019). Her other work includes an appearance in the West End appearance in the revival of the musical Cats in 2014, and roles in the television movie Dirty Dancing (2017) and the TV special Annie Live! (2021). Since its inception in the year 2019, Scherzinger has been a panelist on The Masked Singer, which was a ratings success as well as a brief reunion with the Pussycat Dolls for a planned 2020 tour.During her career so far, Scherzinger has sold over 16 million records as a solo artist , and has received nominations for an Grammy and the Laurence Olivier Award Her other ventures include clothing lines as well as fragrances, as well as serving as an ambassador for the Special Olympics and as a partner of UNICEF UK.
