Nelly

 Cornell Iral Haynes Jr.[2] (born on November 2, 1974),[2more popularly known as his stage name Nelly is an American rapper,[4] singer,[4] actor[5] and businessman. In 1993 Nelly joined the hip-hop group St. Lunatics and was signed to Universal Records in 1999. Under Universal, Nelly began his solo career in the year 2000, with the release of his debut album Country Grammar, of which the featured title track and the single "Ride with Me" were among the top ten songs. The album peaked at number on the Billboard 200, and became the best-selling album of Nelly till date, selling more than 8.4 million copies across the United States. Nellyville's follow-up album produced the number-one hit singles Hot in Herre and Dilemma (featuring Kelly Rowland), and the top five songs "Air Force Ones" (featuring Murphy Lee and St. Lunatics) and Sweat and Suit (2004), which were both released on the same day. Sweat reached number two on the US Billboard 200 charts, selling 342,000 copies in the first week. Suit, which sold around 396,000 copies in its first week on the same chart, debuted at number two the following week, just after Sweat. After many delays, Nelly's fifth album Brass Knuckles was finally released in 2008. It was the album that produced the singles "Party People" (featuring Fergie), "Stepped on My J'z" (featuring Jermaine Dupri and Ciara) and "Body on Me" (featuring Akon and Ashanti). In the year 2010, Nelly released the album 5.0. The album's lead track, "Just a Dream", was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and also led to the singles "Move That Body" (featuring T-Pain and Akon) as well as "Gone" (featuring Kelly Rowland).
