Method Man

 Clifford Smith Jr. (born on March 2nd, 1971) is better called Method Man, an American musician and rapper. He is a part of the East Coast hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He also is a part of the hip-hop duo Method Man & Redman. Smith's stage name comes from the 1979 film Method Man. In 1996 Smith was awarded the Grammy Award as Best Rap Performance by a duo or group for "I'll be there for you/You're the only thing I need to get by". The song was performed by American R&B artist Mary J. Blige. Smith was also featured in films such as 187 (1997) as well as Belly (1998). He co-starred alongside Redman who is who is a frequent collaborator who hails from the East Coast, on the Fox sitcom Method & Red. He also appeared in three HBO series in a recurring part: Melvin "Cheese” Wagstaff in The Wire and Tug Daniels in the show Oz. 4. Method Man is also featured in The Last O.G., which is a TBS comedy.
