Katharine McPhee

 Katharine Hope McPhee[1] (born March 25, 1984[5]) is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She gained fame in May 2006 as the fifth season's finalist. The album she released her debut, Unbroken, was released by RCA Records on January 30, 2007. The album sold 381,000 copies (December 2010) and climbed to number two on the Billboard 200. The first single, "Over It", became an instant Pop Top 30 hit in 2008 and was certified gold. Unbroken, her second album, was released by Verve Forecast Records on January 5 in 2010. It debuted at the number. 27 on the "Billboard 200". The album featured the hit single "Had It All", which reached number 22 on the AC charts. Christmas themed Christmas is the Time to Say That I Love You album was her third. The album had sold over 45,000 copies by January 2011. The album debuted at the 11th spot on the Billboard Top Holiday Albums charts, while "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" reached number 16 on the Billboard AC chart. The album was sold 23,000 copies by January 11, 2011. McPhee's fourth album, Hysteria was released on September 18 in 2015. The singer-songwriter released her fifth album, I Fall in Love Too Easily, composed of jazz standards, on November 17 in 2017. McPhee has also established an acting career, co-starring in The House Bunny and Shark Night 3D. She was among the main characters in Smash as Karen Cartwright. She played Karen Cartwright, one the main characters on Smash from 2014 to 2018.
