Heather Deen Locklear, born on September 25, 1961 was an American actress. She is best known for her part in Melrose Place (1993-1999), in which she received four consecutive Golden Globe nominations. She is also well-known for her role in the television show Dynasty as Sammy Jo Carrington from 1981 until 1989. This was her first television role. She played a frequent role in the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland as well as a major part on the TNT drama-comedy TV series Franklin & Bash in 2013. Her film roles include the science-fiction thriller Firestarter (1984), and the action comedy Money Talks(1997). She also appeared in the live-action/animated comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action(2003), and the romantic comedy The Perfect Man(2005).
