Gwyneth Paltrow

 Gwyneth Kate Paltrow (/'paeltroU/; born September 27th, 1972) is an American actress and businesswoman. She has received numerous awards that include an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as a Primetime Emmy Award.Paltrow gained notice for her work in the early days of films such as Seven (1995), Emma (1996), Sliding Doors (1998), and A Perfect Murder (1998). Her character Viola de Lesseps in Shakespeare in Love (1998), that earned numerous awards, such as the Academy Award in Best Actress. This performance was then followed by performances in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Shallow Hal (2001), and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004).After becoming a mother in 2004, Paltrow significantly reduced her film workload. Paltrow made occasional appearances in films, including Proof (2005) for which she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in Motion Picture - Drama. Paltrow received nominations for the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album For Children in 2009, for her children's audiobook Brown Bear and Friends. In addition, she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest actress in the field of a Comedy Series for her guest part as Holly Holliday on the Fox musical comedy drama television show Glee in 2011. Paltrow was the face and the face of Estee Lauder's Pleasures perfume from 2008 to the year 2019. She was also the spokesperson for Coach which is an American fashion label. 2] She is the CEO and founder of the lifestyle brand Goop which has been criticized for its promotion of pseudoscience, and has authored numerous cookbooks.
