 Eric Lynn Wright (September 7 1964, 1964[2] -March 26 in 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who helped propel West Coast rap and gangsta rappers by founding the group N.W.A and its label Ruthless Records. The rapper is frequently called the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap".Born and raised in Compton, California, Wright faced legal challenges before forming Ruthless in 1987. After a brief solo career, which included frequent collaborations with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, they decided to join the band, which was later renamed N.W.A, later that year. N.W.A's debut studio album, Straight Outta Compton, was released in 1988. The album was criticized when it was released, but is now considered to be one of the most influential and influential albums of the. In 1991 Niggaz4Life was released by the group which was its third album and its final one. Soon after, N.W.A disbanded. Eazy-E also became involved in bitter rivalries between himself and Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who parted ways for solo careers in 1989, 1991 and 1991. In his return to solo work, Eazy-E released two EPs. However, he was more significant behind the scenes when he signed and debuted nationally with the group rap Bone Thugs-N-Harmony from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, Eazy-E was suddenly hospitalized and diagnosed with AIDS, and died from complications.
