Christopher Michael Pratt (born June 21, 1979 is an American actor. He rose to prominence because of his role as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009-2015). He also appeared in The WB drama Everwood (2002-2006) and also had guest parts in the films Wanted (2008) and Jennifer's Body (2009). He played the role of Star-Lord on superhero films that were set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He was also in Jurassic World (2015) as Owen Grady. Time magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential individuals in 2015.
