Chris Evans (actor)

 American actor Christopher Robert Evans was born on June 13, 1981. His acting career began in 2000 when he appeared on the television's Opposite Sex. After appearing in films for teens like 2001's Not Another Teen Movies, Evans earned recognition for his performance as the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch, in Fantastic Four (2005) as well as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also in film adaptations of comics graphic novels, such as TMNT (2007) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). Evans was recognized for his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Endgame (2018). Evans's performance in the series made him one of the highest-paid actors around the globe. He also appeared in the dramatic Gifted (2017) as well as the film that questioned his identity, Knives Out (2019). In 2014 Evans directed the romantic drama Before We Go. The film also wrote the show and played a role in the film. Evans' Broadway debut was in the revival of Kenneth L. Lonergan's production Lobby Hero. He received an Drama League Award nomination.
