Carmelo Anthony

 Carmelo Kyam Anthony, born May 29, 1984, [1in America] is a professional basketball player. He was last with the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in 1994. He was named an NBA All-Star 10 years ago and an All-NBA Team player six times more. In his time as a college basketball player with Syracuse Orange, he won the national championship in 2003 as a freshman and was named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. He was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021 and is widely recognized as one of the most prolific scorers in NBA the history of the NBA. Anthony was the third overall selection of the Denver Nuggets' 2003 NBA draft. He was a player for Denver and played with the Nuggets to the playoffs each year between 2004-2010. The team won two division titles during this period. In 2009, Anthony led the Nuggets to their first Conference Finals appearance since 1985. In 2011 Anthony was traded from Denver to the New York Knicks days before the NBA trade deadline. On January 24, 2014, game against the Charlotte Bobcats, Anthony scored an all-time high of 62 points, setting a Knicks single-game scoring record as well as an Madison Square Garden single-game scoring record. [4] Anthony was dealt to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where was a player for one season, before an uncharacteristic period with the Houston Rockets. He played for two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers prior to joining the Los Angeles Lakers.Anthony has been a part of the Olympics for the US national team four times, winning the bronze medal on the 2004 team as well as gold medals for the 2012, 2008 and 2016 Olympic teams. He was the US Olympic team’s all-time leading scorer of points, rebounds and games played as of April 2016. [6] He currently ranks 9th on the all time NBA scoring list
